Being a member of the HBA of Midland means adhering to a code of ethics where continuing education is key for each of the members to provide better value to the customers they serve.
The largest event hosted by the Home Builders Association of Midland County, is the Midland Home & Garden Show. According to Dave Fletcher, of Reder Landscaping, “The show has a high profile within the community and brings all the businesses into one place. Here, anyone interested in building, remodeling, or landscaping can meet with those businesses face to face.
The Midland Home & Garden Show also features many businesses, and service providers both directly or indirectly involved with the building industry. Everything from plumbing…to appliances…from financing to realtors…insulation…to windows…to shingles, flooring, granite fabricators, even storage solutions. In addition to all that, there are informative seminars full of helpful information for many home projects. The Midland Home & Garden Show is a great place to start before you start the process of building, remodeling, landscaping, or financing, or buying a home.
When asked about the value of membership in the Midland Home Builders Association, Mark Haskin, of Shine Window Care of Midland told us this, “The HBA is a great opportunity for us to develop relationships with other businesses in the area. It is also a great way for us to let people know we are here to help.” Rob Wright from Wright Builders, INC saw that the Midland HBA was very involved in the community and he wanted to be part of that. He goes on to say “the Home and Garden Show is great for access to the community.”
Jodi Sasse told us, "The Home Builders Association is a non-profit agency consisting of residential builders, remodelers, and trade contractor members who have invested in a professional organization to keep them on the leading edge of licensing requirements, education and quality in order to best service customer/community housing needs. In our travels throughout the show one thing was clear to me, states Buy Local Michigan producer Duane Weed. “The businesses here have their finger on the pulse of this community. They understand the culture of the area, the needs and how to meet those needs. Was very impressed by these Midland Michigan based businesses.”
