Muskegon Salmon Fishing Tournament is put on by the Dreamweaver Charity Salmon Tournament organization.  Their mission raises money that grants the outdoor wishes of children with life threatening and life limiting illnesses to go on an outdoor adventure of a lifetime.  The proceeds go to Benefit 4 Kids.

Michigan’s Video Storyteller Duane Weed produced this video to spread the word about this annual Muskegon Salmon Fishing Tournament.  Brought into the cause by lifelong friend Mark Crawford an avid fisherman and supporter of the Dreamweaver Charity Salmon Tournament.  Mark helps organize and particiaptes at this yearly event.  The tournament is located at Fisherman’s Landing in Muskegon, Michigan.

In 2016 the Dreamweaver Charity Salmon Tournament organization will sponsor a young man. According to their facebook page, “We are pleased to introduce Alex, the young man we are sponsoring through B4K this year. Alex is 15 years old and has been diagnosed with Arthrogryposis, a muscle development disorder that affects joint conjectures. The money raised from this year’s event will be used to help fund his wish, a caribou hunt in Alaska. Alex and his parents will be fishing the event this year with Capt Jake Sauve (Fishmael Charters) who again has donated his services to our event.”
