Sponsoring Children is what Jenna Kape from International Promise Foundation does with a passion. According to International Promise Foundation Facebook page, their mission is to provide assistance internationally in fulfilling the biblical instructions outlined in James 1:27, “look after the orphans and widows in their distress.” Founded in 2013 IPF the group focuses on cultivating personal relationships. This happens between the family unit including the parents, the kids and they sponsor a child. The children themselves correspond with the sponsor family as well. It is encouraged to share stories, photos and to pray for one another.
So, where did the story begin? In 2000, The Spica family began sowing into Samaritan Children’s Home in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Their goal was to bring the children’s supplies for schooling and supplies to aid the medical facility. This has carried on where today Jenna, her husband and many families share in the mission of helping the Samaritan Children’s Home with their giving.
International Promise Foundation, located in Byron Center is a non-profit organization built to support under privileged children around the world with financial support through personalized sponsorship programs.
